INFRACOM –

a simultaneous interpretation system that wirelessly manages many languages via one system using infrared light

INFRACOM is a comfortable and reliable simultaneous interpretation system that works wirelessly using infrared light audio transmission. The system is also compatible with the Brähler conference systems DIGIMIC, CDSVAN or AUTOMIC without restrictions. INFRACOM can send and translate language signals from one person to the next via up to 32 channels and languages. To do this, the system makes use of infrared Band II and Band IV and, primarily with the latter, guarantees interference-free transmission of content – even in sunlight or under extremely bright artificial lighting. And it works for large-scale congresses as well as for smaller conferences.

Product Information

Description

The dual interpreter Console DOL7/2 for use by two interpreter is designed for the transmission of 1+6 channels(6 languages). DOL7/2 is interconnected to the control console and the next interpreter console by Daisy-chain technology. The controls are designed in a user-friendly manner and are easy to operate. Via the two “Monitoring” function section, one may preselect an interpretation channel using the 6-digit rotary switch. The interpreter can choose between this interpretation channel and the ORIGINAL (floor) channel using the RELAIS toggle switch.

Description
The compact transmitter ICen IV is used within INFRACOM conference system for the transmission of 8 audio channels via infrared light. The audio signal is converted into a modulated transmit signal in the low-interference band IV and radiated via connected INFRACOM radiators IRad. The floor language (OR) and up to 7 other language channels are transmitted simultaneously on different carrier frequencies.
The transmitted signals are received with the INFRACOM receiver IRX and can then be listened to via headphones. Built-in IR transmitter diodes allow function sontrol even without connected IR radiators.
Description
The radiator IRad belongs to the latest generation of infrared power radiators of the INFRACOM wireless audio distribution system. With a corresponding IR-transmitter up to 32 channels in FM quality can be transmitted simultaneously to the radiator IRad and be emitted in a frequency range within band II and band IV according the IR transmission standards of the conference technology (IEC61603-3 and IEC61603-7). The IRad is complying with international standard IEC60914 and IEC61603-3
Description
The IRX receiver has been designed to receive up to 32 channels within the standard frequency band as well as an extended frequency band as well as an extended frequency band (infrared). The use of a PLL-synthesizer (phase-locked-loop) guarantees high quality transmission and also high operation reliability.
The receiver is equipped with a 4 key control pad for volume and channel control. Volume level and channel number are displayed on a backlighted LC-display which also shows the system status or the system adjustment, i.e. the battery voltage, the IR field intensity and the shift operation mode. Using the shift function, the channel spacing can be shifted arbitrarily upwards to avoid interference on the lower IR channels caused by fluorescent lamps.
The IRX receiver complying with the international standard IEC914, IEC61603-3
and IEC61603-7
